Please read prior to your first visit to the spa


Welcome to Harmony, Healing & Wellness Day Spa. Prior to your first visit with me I ask that you are informed of the following:


How do I get to Harmony Day Spa?

  • I am located 1/8 mile past Target/Bed Bath & Beyond Plaza on Arsenal St. I am located across the second entrance to BOCES Tech Center .Look for the Harmony Healing & Wellness sign in the front of the property.


  • When using a GPS please use the following address:

Can I stop by unannounced?

  •  No, I ask that you call me or visit my website should you need information about services or to book an appointment. If I am with clients and someone stops by without an appointment, this unfortunately disrupts my services already in progress. As I strive to offer each client my individual attention, I am not able to do this if I experience disruptions. Please be respectful of my policy and call to ask when I will be available to assist you should you need to stop by. I thank you for your understanding in advance.


Can I bring my child, friend or relative with me ?

  • Children are not allowed in the spa at any time nor do I provide services for children that are under the age of 16. Please do not bring children or any additional guest with you.

What is required for my first time booking an appointment?

  • All new clients are asked to reserve their reservation with me by providing a valid credit or debit card. If you are booking an appointment to use a Gift Certificate, you will still be asked to reserve your appointment with a credit card. Reserving your appointment is a guarantee that you have asked me to reserve time for you. If you need to cancel your appointment(s) you are required to provide 24 hours minimal notice to avoid a service fee of 50% of the service(s) that you requested I reserve for you. If you do not show for your appointment(s) a service charge of 100% of the service(s) you booked will be charged.

  • I require a 50% non-refundable deposit for any services requested that total $150 or more.


  • Anyone providing a credit card that is not valid or declined will no longer be permitted in the spa and will forfeit any Gift Certificate that may be on file in lieu of any balance due for services.

What if I forget my appointment?

  • When you book an appointment with me I will ask you for general information including your name, cell, home phone number and email address. This is for the sole purpose of my communication with you.


  •  My scheduling system will send you a confirmation of the appointment you reserved with me. You will receive this information by both text and email format. This information is sent to you 3 days prior to your reservation, 24 hours prior and the day of. Although I make every effort to remind you of your appointment, however it is initially your responsibility to remember your appointment. You are required to provide me with 24 hrs notice of cancellation to avoid any service charges off 100% of service cost including all no shows. 

  • Not showing for an appointment has an effect of taking a spot away from someone else, and also takes an income away from me.  Self-employed workers have no compensation for lost appointments. Providing me with the proper notice allows me the chance to fill the spot in and also provides me the opportunity to assist those seeking services.


What if I need to call and the spa is closed?

  • If you need to call me past my working hours, holiday's or when I am closed (Sun & Mon please leave me a message and your call will be returned the next business day. If you call on Sunday or Monday, your call will be returned on Tuesday provided Tuesday is not a holiday. I post on Facebook when I am closed for inclement weather or holidays. If you have an appointment during the time of a storm and I am forced to close for your travel safety, you will receive a personal phone call from me.

  • When calling please leave a brief message as how we may assist you. If you require information about our services or prices, please visit my website.

Why do you need a phone number or email?

  • Once established as a client of Harmony, Healing & Wellness Day Spa, please advise me of any change in contact info such as phone numbers or email. By doing so I can establish an effective method of communication in the event I need to contact you should I need to cancel your appointment due to inclement weather conditions. When a travel advisory is announced in Jefferson County it is my policy to close the spa for the travel safety of my clients. When this occurs, no service fees apply for missed appointment(s) and your appointment(s) will be rescheduled as soon as my schedule permits. Every effort including Sunday and Monday

      (Days that the spa is generally closed) may be offered.


Do you provide services for groups?

  •  I can  not accommodate more than one person at a time. I want your visit with me to be peaceful and stress free . For me to provide you with this experience,  I offer one service with each client at the  time of their service. I also ask that you leave at home any electronic device such as Ipads etc. You may bring your cell phone, however I ask that you silence the ringer as not to disturb your service, nor disrupt your treatment time. I ask that you do not bring any additional guest with you as this is your time and I make very effort to stay on task for all of my clients each and every day.



Where can I park?

  • I I offer plenty of parking, please do not block any entrances to the spa, especially the main entrance to the spa or driveway.

What if I receive the answer machine when you are open?

  • When calling, if I am in service with clients, I can not answer the phone. Please leave a brief message so that I can call you back when I am not assisting clients.


I want to stop by to make a purchase or buy a gift certificate?

  • I do not accept walk in's. All services are by appointment only. Please call me to arrange a time to stop in .


  • III offer Gift Certificates through my website, look for the tab that says Gift Certificate. The transactions are directed through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may sign in as a guest.

  • If you would like to pick up your Gift Certificate, please call me prior to your visit so that I can arrange to be available to help you.


What do I need to tell you prior to my service?

  • Please advise me of any allergies prior to your service with  omer any other challenges both physically and emotionally that you may have or if you have had recent surgery.


What if I am late for my appointment?

  • Arriving late will deprive you of time needed for your service(s). Please ensure that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time with me.Please do not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment.


  • If you arrive late for any reason, I will have to reduce the length of time originally allowed for your service(s) so that I am on time for the remainder of our clients.


How do I schedule multiple services?

  • If you are looking to book multiple services at Harmony Day Spa please check your schedule to make sure you are completely free on the day that you are requesting.

  • If you are scheduling four (4) or more hours worth of service time or the services total $150 or more I require a 50% non- refundable deposit.  

  • Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment; I require two (2) weeks advanced notice.  If you notify me less than two (2) weeks in advanced and I can not fill the spots, you will be charged the remainder of the service fee.I am an  independent contractor which means I am self employed. No work means no income.In order for me to provide you with the best products, setting and education to perform your services I need to work. I understand when circumstances arrive beyond our control so please  call me if anything arises preventing you from keeping your appointment with me.  

Can I schedule appointments for other people?

  • You may schedule appointments for other people when the following criteria has been met:


  • You may purchase them a Gift Certificate and leave it at the spa for them to redeem the day of their service.

  • You have pre-paid for their service prior to or on the day of their service.

  • My cancellation and No - show policy are in effect and you will responsible for any cancellation less 24 hrs and any No-shows.
